Bev Herriott

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Beverly Herriott is a mixed media artist, primary favouring soft pastel. Her graduation for North Vancouver's Capilano College Commercial Arts Programme in 1980 marked the end of a single brief period living off-island. Inspired by the land and seascapes surrounding Victoria BC, each piece draws from a lifetime of memories at landmarks close to heart and home. Bev's paintings are all produced in her home studio in Cobble Hill BV.

Living on Vancouver Island has always been inspiring to me in all ways. For my art, there is no shortage of natural wonder and beauty here. I like to try to capture the unique character and nuances of the Natural Landscape, bringing these details to the viewer that otherwise might go unnoticed.
