StatementAs an outsider artist I paint intuitively, therapeutically and for fun. My work responds my surroundings and honours my inspirations while I seek my own artistic voice, as I do consider myself still 'emerging'. I am inspired by the concept of abstracting the landscape, or capturing an emotive ambiguous portrait. I began painting with watercolour and have applied those techniques using acrylic paint by created grounds by staining raw canvases, which I have built custom. My paintings are impactful, intriguing, highly personal and ever-evolving.
