Judy has a passion for fine art photography and is an active member of the invitation-only Java Jivers Photographic Art group based in Huntington Beach, California, and repeat presenter to the international SheClicks group headquartered in the UK. Statement

My art is inspired by the awe and gratitude I experience in witnessing the simple miracles I see around me every day. Quite simply, beauty feeds my soul, and I delight in using my camera and modern photographic technology to share that beauty in the hopes that it will move the viewer as well.

I’ve been influenced by the floral work of Georgia O’Keeffe, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Christopher Beale, as well as the work of Auguste Renoir, Imogen Cunningham, Edward Weston, Nancy Rotenberg, and Yousef Karsh. Although minimalism is the genre that most attracts me, I enjoy any genre of photographic art that brings into my sensuality and an awareness of the sacred.
