This series of 3 baskets were created using salvaged marine rope found on Hornby Island and reclaimed cotton. The marine rope is washed many times to get out the sand and seaweed. Then I strip the rope into pieces and stretched it out. The reclaimed cotton was given to me by a local weaver. Finally using fine nylon thread, I stitched it together.
