Morning Invite

Morning Invite is a mixed medium of monoprint and stencil featuring a waterscape. After several passes on the press it has been elaborated with pencil crayon.
The first pass in a lighter colour creates a depth or distance. The light horizon is present. The interplay of light and dark create an appeal as if one is out on a walk. The stenciled objects in the foreground add interest.
Using mediums I created an appealing place of meditation. The bathing sun comforts and the drooping foliage of branches form a refuge. It leaves breathing space to find rest and healing.
A water scape is always nearby on a west coast walk.
