My Grievances

My grievances is a limited edition handmade printmaking book. This is the first out of three. The book is made from handmade floral paper. Block prints with custom mixed coloured ink. Text was created using screen-printing on translucent paper. I binded each book by hand using purple embroidery thread. The theme behind the imagery is based off moments of grief I’ve been toiling with, but have come to acknowledge and accept throughout the process of making this book series. Size, approx 7 inches long, 5 inches wide when closed, 10 inches wide when open.
