Shades Of Grey

This painting depicts the beauty of the Alberni Inlet in January. I used a limited pallet for the painting. Predominantly the following colours were used Daniel Smith- Payne’s Gray, Holbein - Neutral Tint, M Graham - Ultramarine Blue, Royal Talens - Cerulean Blue. M Graham – Sap Green was used for the trees. Windsor Newton – Titanium White, Gouache was used for highlights on the wake of the boat and in the trees. The painting is mounted on a custom made cradled wood panel, finished with a coat of varnish and two coats of wax.
