This beautiful little bleeding heart was part of my search for "new growth" as the Quadra Island Photo Club March assignment. I nearly stepped on it while I was taking another photograph as it was so small. I was so taken with it because it had likely just started blooming the day before. I love the colours in the blossom and the slightly out of focus of the leaves in the background.
