This is my favorite dead tree at Island View Beach near Sidney. It gets many different visitors on its powerful and unique blanches such as eagles, ravens, herons and seagulls. One cloudy winter day, the tree looked like a Christmas tree with many seagull “ornaments.” One of seagulls was having a hard time to settle in to a spiky blanch. There is always one like that, hey?
