Innocence Letting Loose

The impetus for this still life portrait was so I could photograph my own reference photo. My main art subjects are animals so my childhood teddy bear, "Charlie" seemed perfect for my drawing. Charlie is a soft-bristled, firm bodied teddy bear being a soft tan/beige colour. He's posing on a fluffy brown blanket that has grey tips like fur, and he's posing with a moonshine bottle. I thought the juxtaposition of childhood teddy and a moonshine bottle would be thought provoking.
I've rendered this portrait with Faber-Castell and Caran Dache coloured pencils softly blending the layers with a dry paint brush. The paper is a pastel paper by Clairfontaine (Pastelmat)
This is the third portrait of Charlie.
